Incredibly ornate and beautiful French antique Benetier or Holy Water font. Dated to mid 19th century.
The scallop shaped green onyx set on brass base with ring for hanging.
The porcelain plaque, with beautiful serenely hand painted miniature, mounted into
bronze dore frame with cross above. The bronze frame embellished with embossed pattern.
Below the plaque is covered bowl with hinged lid. It measures 8 x 4 3/4 inches.
This magnificent piece is in excellent, original pre-owned condition,
age related wear and marks, but no cracks, nicks or chips.
