Item Description:

For sale is a complete set of eighteen (18) child rearing booklets entitled "Better Living Booklets for Parents and Teachers". These were published for Science Research Associates, Inc. by Spencer Press, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois in 1951. Each measures 8.5" X 5" and contains 48 pages in each booklet. The cardboard sleeve is also included. Pictured is the actual set being offered. All are in very good condition except the first booklet in which the cover has come off & been reattached with clear tape recently. This belonged to my mother who purchased these new in the early 1950's. I know times have  changed drastically since these were published. However, there is still a lot of good information in these or if you just want to take a look back in time! Here is a listing of the individual booklets:
