A Fabulous Pair Of 18th C Alencon Lappets

I have a good selection of antique lace, textiles, shawls, wedding headdresses, ribbons, tiny floral trims, corsets, parasols and much, much more to bring you this week, most of this weeks items are from two country house auctions, one in the West Country and another from North Yorkshire and also a private collection from a wonderful lady who worked in film costume for many years. 

This is a wonderful pair of rare to find late 18th Century hand made antique Alencon lace Lappets there are some holes I have photographed these please take a look. Measurements are 80 cm by 11 cm. Perfect for study or to add to a collection

I only sell antiques, and therefore everything has had a previous life! very little in the antiques world is as new, if it is it tends to be in a museum, conditions however vary from pristine to excellent to good but, nothing is new! if it is, then it's often to good to be true and probably not an antique! So you have to expect these varying degrees of wear, be it in colour, texture, feel, smell and sometimes damage. I usually ship within 48hours of cleared funds. I only use a tracking system under 2 kg via airsure or international sign for, over 2kg Global priority, with the UK recorded delivery or next day sign for whichever is the cheapest, in accordance with eBay and PayPal rules please do of ask for less as I do not ship any other way. Charges are for postage, And a small amount toward the ever increasing cost of packaging, bubble wrap, jiffi bags etc. If international postal charges are not listed please email me for a quote.

I do my best to describe items but unfortunately there may be times when I miss something and I will only refund on this basis that an item is not as described. I do not pay for return postage on any item unless the item has a fault that was missed in the description.  Please remember that I do not sell new items, they are antiques therefore have age and character and wear!  My items are carefully sourced from Estate sales, auction houses, fellow antique dealers who buy for me, even famous TV experts sourse items for me on their travels, I only buy what I would buy to keep myself.
