Tiled Look Fireplace Laser Cut Kit and Frame in Quarter Scale

 This wooden engraved laser cut kit is easy to make and includes the frame, tiled look hearth, brick fire box, burnt wood inside the fireplace and fireplace with tile look facing. This kit reminds me of Arts and Crafts style and I'm sure it would look great in that era scene our home. This kit can be waxed with a paste wax, painted or stained as well. To enhance the tile images you could colour them with a light watercolour application. For the coloured fireplace I used a watercolour pencil and then added water lightly. The first photo shows this kits' small size with the ruler below. The length of the fireplace mantel is 1 1/4", the depth is 1/4" while the height is 1".

All that is needed to put this kit together is wood glue, cutting mat, Xacto knife and paint, wax or stain if you prefer and toothpick . You can use your own tiny prints or paintings in the frames or mirror paper. This kit would work well in a living room setting or in a parlor or sitting room. I'm sure you can think of other uses for it too in a quarter scale scene.
