These older service bar pins were painted from 1953 to 1979, and white was available from 1962 to 1979. They were very fragile and the paint chipped quite easily. While white service bars were still available after 1979, they had a flat enamel finish. This one looks perfect, no visible chips in the paint! What a wonderful vintage addition to your collection!
