Mit zwei großen und kolorierten Holzschnitten - den 7-armigen jüdischen Kandelaber darstellend. Die Holzschnitt-Künstler waren Michael Wolgemuth, der bekannte Lehrer Albrecht Dürers, sein Stiefsohn Wilhelm Pleydenwurff sowie Albrecht Dürer selbst.  Text in Latein. AUTOR & WERK Hartmann Schedel Das unter dem Titel "Liber chronicarum" - "Nürnberger Chronik" oder auch "Schedelsche Weltchronik" - bekannte Werk gilt als eines der am reichst illustriertesten Werke des frühen Buchdruckes. Die Chronik enthält ca. 1.800 Textholzschnitte von Michael Wohlgemuth und W. Pleydenwurff, darunter 29 doppelblattgroße und Dutzende halbseitige Stadtansichten. Über die Auflagenhöhe wurde und wird häufig spekuliert. Man nimmt heute an, dass von der lateinischen Ausgabe ca. 1.500 Exemplare gedruckt wurden. Die Holzschnitte in einem hervorragenden Kolorit im Stile des Koberger Verlagskolorits. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein Original!
