Here is a wonderful vintage piece for any Gentlemen! This is a Victorian wooden pocket watch holder, with hinged glass dome lid. There is a little hook inside to hang the pocket watch from, which we show with a Watch (It is NOT included). The size of the area measures 1.75" round. It appears that some fabric may have been around the outer edge, as you can see the residue around the outer edge. This is a piece we acquired from a New Jersey private estate auction we recently attended.
It is in relatively pristine condition, with only wear consistent with age. A few little nicks to the wood and some rub marks, but all in all it is fine. The screws in the hinge need to be tightened, but we do not have a screw driver that small to adjust it. So we will leave that to the winner of this lovely vintage item. What a wonderful addition to your Watch collection or to actually use.
