Hotpoint Gazelle Toaster Art Deco Tipper Edison General Electric circa 1930s. Model129T31 w 525 v 115. One side handle is broken. Very deco or retro piece that would be a great addition to kitchen appliance vintage collection. Toaster heats up fine but I recommend re-wiring if you plan on using it for safety concerns. The cord is very stained and there is a chip on the bakelite plug end. The toaster has been cleaned and I have added many photos so you can better see the condition. I will try to cover anything I see that could affect the value.
One side handle is broke, photo 3. There is a small crack in the bakelite by the temp control photo 6 and others. There is a slight dent in crumb tray when you pull it out you can see it. Photos 5 and 10. Some other little chips in the bakelite,( use zoom, none of these are major chips or distracting overall photo 7 shows the worst clearly.) The finish is actually quite nice, it does have wear consistent with use and age. Damage and/or problems are explained and shown in photos, zoom works please see close ups.
