An excellent vintage tweed suit, tailored by Dunn & Co in the 1970s. It is cut from medium weight pure new wool, brown in colour with an orange, blue, green and yellow overcheck

The jacket is single breasted with a 3 button fastening, 2 cuff buttons, straight set pockets, twin rear vents, 2 inner pockets and silky viscose lining

The trousers are flat fronted without pleats, have a zipped fly, buttoned side adjusters, 2 rear pockets and straight legs

Size : Labelled size 96cm (38") Reg, though sleeves have been lengthened by an inch. Please check your measurements against the following before bidding;

Jacket

Underarm to underarm : 20.5"       Shoulder to shoulder : 17.75"

Sleeves, shoulder seam to cuff : 26"       Base of collar to hem : 30"

Trousers

Waist : 35" (has been let out from 32" - easily taken in again)

Inside leg : 31"+1" to let down    Outseam : 43"     Width at cuff : 9.5"

Remember that it is very easy, and usually very reasonable price-wise, to have a suit altered a little to give you a better fit
