1940s MARY HOYER 14" STRUNG DOLL WITH AUBURN HAIR IN BLUE KNIT OUTFIT

Up for auction is a gorgeous 1940s Mary Hyer doll. She stands 14" tall.

Her mohair wig looks lovely and is bright and clean! She has molded hair beneath her wig. She has fantastic looking sleep eyes! They are a greenish yellow color and work very well. They do get stuck from time to time though. All of her eyelashes are intact and look wonderful. She has lovely features and nicely colored rosey cheeks. Her lipstick looks gorgeous! It just has one small knick on the lower lip. Her right cheeck has a rub spot on it.

She has a hard plastic head & body. She could use a restringing of her arms as they are a bit loose.

She is marked on the back, "ORIGINAL / MARY HOYER / DOLL".

Her fingernails are painted but I am not sure if this is how it was original done or not.

All of her fingers and toes are intact.

Her outfit is adorable on her. It is not tagged but it appears to be very well made. I am not sure if it is an original Mary Hoyer or not. The shoes look like they are original and are in very good condition.
