In celebration of light, land, and spirit -The Fatali Family Centerfold is a beautiful photograph taken by Fatali at an amazing Slot Canyon in Arizona. He studied the location, waiting for the perfect light to embrace the canyon. With incredible patience, he captured this stunning photograph, freezing this magnificent moment in time. “The extremely large and heavy camera I have used for these images was custom made to use 8×10 inch film plates and was actually designed from a 100-year-old model. Today, most of the films are very hard to get my hands on and have been discontinued. These images are unique, not only because of their technical approach, but for the fact that they are from rare moments of creation showcasing its amazing natural light and beauty. There are many unique visual characteristics and advantages of a Cibachrome. One of which, is the archival property that makes them extremely stable. This stabilization comes from using precious raw silver metals within the papers photographic emulsion. This also allows for the image to last for many generations without any noticeable loss of color or image quality. They say Cibachromes will last indefinitely in a light tight environment. Over the years, we have had many Fatali Cibachrome Original photographs that have quickly became sold out, making them hard to come by. They are considered very desirable for many of our patrons. From time to time, our collectors may request us to either help them find their favorite image, or to see if we could find them new home. We are at a point in our business that we have very little inventory. We are excited to be able to consign these rare sold out images and find them a new home. We have so many collectors who will not part with their images. We are very fortunate to have these become available to you.
