Sage VT2 690-4 (9' 6wt) Fly Rod
This rods fast action, lightweight design and superior balance are perfect for covering the large amount of water between you and the swift seam in the river holding your giant trout of the season. Pick up this rod and some wooly buggers, slap a Gone Fishin sign on your door, and head to your favorite riverthe rainbows are waiting.
Leland on the VT2 Rod Series
Sometimes it's hard to let loose of your favorite fly rod. Those
were our feelings when we heard the workhorse VPS and VPS-Light fly rods were
being discontinued by Sage. However, we waited with great anticipation to cast
the new line replacing them. As usual, we were not disappointed. Don Green and the
guys at Sage have done it again. The VT2 Fly Rod Series is designed to provide
the caster a rod that does what it is supposed to do. Now with the VT2, when
you reach for an 8 weight you get an 8 weight, not a 9 or 7 for that matter.
These rods follow in a natural progression of Sage technology. Utilizing what
they learned from the now famous G5 Technology the Sage rod designers were able
to place the graphite in all the right places, giving you another Sage fly rod
series that is one for the ages.
SAGE FLY RODS
Sage has been as committed to performance and innovation as any rod manufacturer in the world. Their dedication to research and development has produced some of the finest fly rods ever conceived. Models like the SP and RPLXi helped put Sage in a class reserved for only the best manufacturers. Models like the XP and RPLXi helped put Sage in a class reserved for only the best manufacturers. And many argue models like the Xi2 and now the Z-Axis have sent more than a few companies scurrying to catch up.Sage, under the guise of company founder Don Green, has been pushing the envelope with state of the art materials from the moment the company opened it's doors in 1980. Sage was the first company to incorporate the use of IM6 (Graphite II) graphite in their rods. Through out the years Sage's use of graphite evolved, from graphite II and then to graphite III, and finally graphite IV. Today, all their high-end rods contain Graphite IIIe, a blend of both graphite III and IV. To date, graphite IIIe has the highest strength to weight ratio on the market. From the outset, the company's goal has been to create rods that generate high line speeds. As thousands of Sage owners will attest, the design of their rods enables the fisherman to have extraordinary line control. Casting a Sage means placing your fly where you want it, not where you hope it goes.

The Leland Upgrade Program has the best and most accurate photos and condition assessments on eBay, so you can be confident that what you receive is exactly what you bid on. With our full time staff, the gear you win passes through three inspection points, ensuring that there are no unexpected inaccuracies. After all, we dont want to sell you something that wasnt what you were expecting.
Our staff members in the Leland Upgrade Program are trained professionals and we put our customers first. However, its impossible for us to tell the complete history of the items we receive, and sometimes its difficult for the original owner to know. We go to great lengths to avoid defects and refurbish each item to ensure the best quality products on eBay. If an item does not meet our strict standards of fishability we will reject it from our program, so you dont end up with any junk.
With all this in mind, the Leland Upgrade Program will accept returns within 7 days of the date you receive the item. Within this window, we will issue you a 65% refund, unless for some reason the item arrives damaged or not in the condition as described, in which case we will issue a full refund.
The Leland Upgrade Program reserves the right to refuse a refund if we find that the item returned to us is damaged or is not in the same condition as at it was at the time we shipped it to you. We keep this at our discretion, but bear in mind that you are our fishing buddy. Remember that always.
Sometimes good things will break, so that is why we offer a limited Leland 18 Month Upgrade Warranty on select products we sell. But no matter what it is that you bought or when you received it, we want you happy. We care about your fishing, too! So give us a shout and well be sure to get things squared away.
Tight Lines,

LELAND UPGRADE STORE INFORMATION
Out with the old, in with the new!
This item (and many of our others on eBay) is being sold through Leland Upgrade, The original trade-in program. The program takes your unneeded or unwanted fly rods and reels, sells them for you and leaves you with store credit toward the purchase of NEW fly fishing gear from us.
What's all this mean? New equipment at no hassle. If you live outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, we can email you information and forms to detail your equipment. If you live close, just stop by the shop with your gear.
In the mean time, view our other auctions and see how it's done. We take professional photos of your old gear and write thoroughly researched and well-written stories that complement your gear. Check out the prices our customers are getting for their unneeded fishing equipment, too.
What's in it for us? We just hope to win your trust and become THE provider for your fly fishing needs. The sale amount of your equipment (minus ebay and Paypal fees) is turned into store credit with us. If you upgrade your gear with us, it will cost the same for you to list your old gear on eBay, but that's the beauty of it you don't have to lift finger. We take nothing off the top of your sale. We sell the best gear by the most exciting companies in the industry. See for yourself at our eBay store: http://stores.ebay.com/Leland-Fly-Fishing-Outfitters.
If you have questions about this program, just call us. (Really, we love talking about the program.)
We know you would love to have some new equipment, and this is an easy way to do it with absolutely no hassle.
