This listing is for a Rare Museum Quality Mint with Mint Tags Ty 1st Edition Princess Diana Beanie Baby Please be aware other sellers have copied and pasted my information on this beanie, all the detailed information I have provided below is regarding this beanie. Rest assured that I purchased this Princess years ago from an authorized Ty dealer, not from a second or third party. This Princess is a 1st edition No Spacing on the Swing Tag in the 2nd and 3rd line of the last 4 lines! Tush Tag has the Red Star Ty Logo No Number inside the Tush Tag (a Chinese manufacturing number in the later editions would indicate a facility ID) Handmade in China Tush Tag states PE Pellets but possbily PVC since this is the first version of the Princess Diana and Ty was switching over to making all beanies with P.E. pellets., there are many websites that say the first version had PVC although tag stated PE due to the change over. P.E. Pellets were not used in any beanie baby until February 1998 when the Greenpeace protested at the New York Toy Fair to halt the usage of PVC in children's toys. Ty the announced they would be using PE Pellets for all future products. When Princess was first released only twelve were distributed at one time to Ty Dealers/Store.
