About the artist: 

John Silver is considered to be one of the World’s leading contemporary Canine artists, working predominantly in Oils.  John has been previously awarded with the "Best New Artist" award by the Fine Art Trade Guild.  

His paintings are in many private collections Worldwide and has painted for Celebrities and British Royalty. John is also already in the Art History books, as he is the only living artist to have work permanently hanging in the prestigious Kennel club Gallery in London, alongside such great canine artists as Sir Edwin Landseer, Maud Earl, Arthur Wardle etc. 

Many of his works being produced as both Limited Edition and Open Edition prints by some of the leading art publishers. He has an enviable ability to capture the Canine form in all its beauty. Favouring two styles of detailed realism and his other more loose contemporary art style.
