An interesting Edwardian report on the legal and reformatory treatment of drunkards, containing numerous interview transcripts.

'Presented to both Houses of Parliament by Command of His Majesty'.

In a Royal College of Surgeons of England Library binding, with occasional ink stamps for the Royal College of Surgeons of England Library.

With 'Home Office' in pencil to the titlepage.

CONDITION

 In a cloth binding from the Royal College of Surgeons of England Library. Externally, some shelfwear. Spine faded, with wear to top and tail. Internally, firmly bound, with slight age-toning. Generally clean, with just the odd small spot or mark. Small ink mark and ink withdrawal stamp to titlepage. Shelfmark label to spine. Overall: VERY GOOD.
