EX (Excellent)
The record shows some signs of having been played
VG (Very Good) (+/-)
The record has been played and shows some light scratching. It may has barely audible crackle or surface hiss in places. The sleeve shows moderate wear when viewed closely.
G (Good) (+/-)
The record has been played frequently, this causes a fair amount of background noise and some scratches appear which may be audible (pops + clicks) more or less. The sleeve shows wear, small tears, stains, rips or small restorations with tape. Overall well playable and worth keeping.
W (Worn)
An excessively played record (at parties etc.). Heavy scratches may cause skips depending on equipment. High amount of moderate scratches and noise. The sleeve is heavily worn,
F (Fair)
Barely playable. Heavy noise with skips and jumps drowns the sound in most parts. The sleeve is torn or partly missing, may also show other damages of the above grades. but complete. Large tears, heavy stains and restoration with felt pen and tape etc.
