Vintage Bat Oper Tin Litho Bump N Go Jalopy Car 1901
Fun vintage battery operated 1901 tin toy car features bump-n-go and shaking action with headlights. Measures 9 3/4" in length and is 8 3/4" in height. Uses two (2) D batteries and has an On/Off lever on the side. Car moves forward, backward, shakes, and lights up. Tin car with colorful detailed litho features and attached plastic vinyl driver character and seats. Back marked "Made In Japan".
This toy is in good condition but does have some damage. The headlight on the drivers side is cracked but still works. The headlight on the opposite side is not working. On/Off lever is loose and the car needs a shake or two to get started on occasion. Car is slow to move forward, but other action seem to be functioning properly. There is dust throughout the toy, and the metal areas without litho show some oxidation. Litho is still colorful, but does show some rubs and scratches. Still a fun vintage piece.
