The labels are embossed “Wm. Mills & Son, New York” with a fish in the center. The company was one of the longest run sporting goods stores in the USA. The trunk measures 49” long and 7” x 7” square. It is constructed like a steamer trunk with fabric covered wood and metal hardware. It appears all original and shows typical wear one would expect from a trunk its age as you can see in the pictures below. It is structurally solid and in very good condition.
