This auction is for a rare 1936 game called "Boondoggling". The game satirizes the Roosevelt administration and its "Brain Trust", WPA, NRA, New Deal, etc. The perimiter of the board consists of squares each of which has a satirical mini cartoon. The point of the game is for the players to compete to spend all of the money and return to Washington, D.C. with no money left. They also have to avoid collecting any new funds from the Treasury along the way. The game was designed by Lucien H. Platt and Harold . Hansen.
The gameboard is 17" square, and comes with a stack of "money", two of the original 6 playing tokens (marked "Harry" and "Rex"), and a double sided instruction sheet, and a pair of tiny dice. There is some foxing to the back side of the gameboard, but the playing surface is in excellent condition. The box that this came in is in fair condition with split corners, squashed in top, etc.

However, I am human and can miss things, so if there is ever a problem with an item you receive, please let me know and I will do my best to make it right!
