Up for auction are these four old Toronto patent medicine bottles.  There are two Pinex bottles : a cork-top aqua one embossed as such on the sides, and a clear screw top one with about 70 % of its original label.  Embossed “Pinex Trade Mark” on the back.  Label indicates The Pinex Co. Toronto.  5 5/8 “ and 5 ¾” tall.

Next is a clear, unembossed rectangular bottle with a blue metal cap and original label.  The almost perfect label is printed “Pine Tar Cordial – Toronto Pharmacal Co. – Toronto – Winnipeg”.

The fourth bottle is also unembossed in clear glass with a metal screw cap, and a label printed “Puretest Essence Peppermint – United Drug Co. Limited – Toronto, Can.”  Label seems to have three small paint spots near the middle.

SHIPPING: I usually ship via airmail, and I take the most economic option when I can.  If you want special shipping service (i.e. Ground, Priority or Express mail), please make sure to tell me when you place your bid.  Buyer pays shipping.  I will ship upon receipt of payment. 

SHIPPING COSTS : I will be glad to send a shipping quote to those asking for it, providing a postal or zip code.  I always charge exact shipping cost, rounded to the next dollar.  I may add a dollar or two on very large parcels to cover packing material costs, but this rarely happens and I advise the buyer when doing so.

PAYMENT IS REQUIRED WITHIN 7 DAYS after I send the winning bidder an invoice with total cost.  I should send the invoice shortly after the auction ends.  I will ship upon receipt of payment.  If I have not heard from the winning bidder after 7 days, it may result in a negative feedback.

Return policy

I will only accept returns for items that have not been described accurately. The item cost will be refunded if the buyer returns it in the same condition within 7 days. Buyer pays for return shipping.  I WILL NOT accept a returned item if the buyer misread the description.

I WILL NOT be responsible for broken items.  I always make sure all items are packed to withstand the trip; what happens after they leave my door is out of my control. However, unless a breakage is obviously my fault, I will refund the full purchase price to the buyer, but not the shipping charges, with proof that the item is broken.
