Rare J. & E. Stevens Panorama Cast Iron Mechanical Bank NO RES

This evening I am listing a very nice collection of original cast iron still and mechanical banks. Please see last picture for the group going off this evening - all ending on Sunday, April 2nd. This auction is for the one item listed below ONLY. Please CLICK HERE to view the others.

Here is a wonderful - and hard to find - mechanical bank from J. & E. Stevens Company Connecticut - Circa 1876.  Push a coin into the roof slot and the pictures in the panorama window turn in sequence. Measures 6-1/2" high. This one is in very nice overall condition - as seen in the pictures. Some wear to the roof, but the rest of the paint is strong. No breaks, cracks or repairs. When I tested the bank, I couldn't get the picture to roll over, which should happen when a coin is placed into slot on the roof. Should be an easy fix. The pictures on the roll all have some wear, but are beautifully rendered. A great bank not to be missed. Please ask any questions. Thanks. Offering in AUCTION format (support the auction format!) with NO RESERVE. Buyer pays shipping (Insurance is included in the shipping and handling fees for an estimated final value of $2800). Please check out my other items currently listed, and save on shipping. NO RESERVE.
