We are delighted to offer for sale this 1.25" 9mm 58 degree BST Wide Angle Eyepiece.

Made for planetary observation these eyepieces are exceptional at virtually eliminating lateral colour aberation and light scatter often associated with eyepieces that are more suited for deep space objects. These eyepieces were created to give maximum detail and definition across the whole field of view which is especially useful for Dobsonian telescopes and owners of telescopes without tracking devices where the object drifts across the field of view during observation.

The eyepiece has 5 elements and is fully broadband multicoated. The eyepiece has a twist up eye cup which gives up to 20mm (yes 20mm) of extension to adjust the eye relief for the user.  This involves applying a light lubricant which may be visible when receiving the eyepiece so it is quite normal.  It can be reduced by operating the twist mechanism a few times and then wiping it off.
