From a set of DOGS issued in England by W.D. & H.O WILLS and inserted in their various brands of cigarettes in 1937 

The artwork for the full length study of the dog on the front of the card is by the famous animal artist Arthur Wardle.

On the reverse of the card is the manufactures name, the card number and a brief description of the breed and its history.

The card measures approx 2½ X 1½ inches and is in VERY GOOD condition for its age with minimum age staining and wear. These particular cards were produced with adhesive backs so they could be stuck in a album and in many cases because of this damage to the front and backs of the cards occurred. The cards from this set that we are offering have been checked and have no damage to the surface front or rear.

Cards such as these make great additions to breed collections and when custom framed can look really stunning. They also make great breed show trophys.
