Boot Scraper Bark Stripper This is old iron and rebar style piece looks like a draw knife except that the edge is not sharp and the handles would hurt the user's hands. The debarker or possibly boot scraper top measures about 17"s L and is about 3-1/2"s wide. The plate steel is ground and sharpened and set at an angle so the user can draw the tool towards them stripping the bark off of a log. The tool is dull and looks like it may be the blade portion of an old boot scraper but could be sharpened and used as a knife. It has some rust on it that combines with the rustic design to give it great western character.
