New Idea – that I have spent a lot of time on in which my conversion plate allows you to use the RX8 six speed box instead of the weak type 9.. at a very reasonable price – it is a direct replacement for the Type 9 in which you don’t have to change your clutch the prop will need the rx8 front end put on your prop   its 1”  23 spline   Or if it’s to do an engine conversion on your RX8, Kit Cars, Classic Ford, Race Cars, Bangers, or Upgrade on your project!!!!???!!!  The Type 9 Gearbox is weak and overpriced, fetching an average of £200 and against the RX8 6 Speed ranging from £50 - £100  - which is a no-brainer considering that is a close cut box, quick shift and hydraulic clutch and is a superior tight gear box.   With my Kit it’s basically a bolt on fix, which you get a better gear box at a better price, with more strength and reliability and 6 speed too…..  Basically the same dimensions too.

·      Clutch Adjuster be it hydraulic or cable
