Here for sale today we have an Operating System Disk for the Ensoniq ASR10
Synth.
This upgrade is supplied on Floppy Disk and contains many bug fixes and upgrades
to
the ASR10.
This version of the
O/S disk is compatible with the following Synths:
Ensoniq ASR-10, ASR-10R (rack), and ASR-88.
Please Note:
Your ASR-10 must be booted with this Disk inserted every time it is powered
on.
Please also ensure that your ASR10 Keyboard contains version 1.50B Eproms
otherwise this O/S will not work in your ASR10. If you have version 1.00 Eproms
installed inside your ASR10 Keyboard then you will require O/S version 1.25
which we also sell in our other actions. All ASR10 Rack units carry the 1.50b
Eproms on-board making this O/S compatible with your synth.
If you for some reason see the message "incompatible os version" on your ASR10
Keyboard then you most probably have the version 1.0 Eproms installed inside
your keyboard and will require o/s disk version 1.25 from our other auction.
Please ensure that
your floppy drive is good working condition and that the floppy drive heads are
cleaned periodically for extended life of your floppy drive.
