This is a book in Very Good condition.  There are no inscriptions but one page has some unfortunate scribbling (colouring), being page 115 the first page of The Rose Patrol by May Wynne.  The pages are bright and well bound.  There is some loss to the bottom corner of pages 11/12 which does not affect the text.  The covers are in Very Good condition with bumping to the corners and along the edges.  This book does contain 13 stories including Father Time And His Pattern Book by Enid Blyton, Rescue In The Snows by Elinor Mary Brent-Dyer, The Surprising Day by Angela Brazil and Dog Of My Dreams by Phyllis Briggs.  It is illustrated throughout by P B Hickling including 4 full page colour plates.
