FRENCH INDUSTRIAL MODERNIST MEDICAL LAMP
French modernist lamp from the 1950's or 1960 in the style of Jielde , it was most likely a medical lamp in view of the globe . The particularity of the connection is the direct contact inside which does not required wires so it can be manipulated in any shape or form desired , all the moving part possibly moving at a 90 % angle . This one is a 2 arms which can use as a floor lamp. It has been cleaned and stripped to the metal. I found it more interesting that way.
Size H.40 depending on position , 40 is fully extended including the globe , arm : 16 " each , globe D.5 1/2 , rewired , good antique condition ,there is some scratches from normal use and some superficial oxidation ( darker spots), the protective glass is intact , if you are only looking for a nice piece with history it will be perfect for you.
