Just in on consignment, You are bidding on a McCoy cookie jar. This piece is circa 1940s. The cookie jar is shaped like a milk cow with a cat on its back. The bottom has W-10 on it. The cookie jar is in good shape given its age. It does have a couple of condition issues however. The finish has crazing on it. One of the horns and one of the ears have a small chip on it. This has some kind of black/brown slag like spots on it around the head. They are original to the item as they have the same glazed finish on parts of it like the rest of cookie jar. The consignor states that this may have been a test fire piece but I cannot guarantee that. This is in good condition. Don't miss out on this great McCoy piece.
