Featured here is a Sterling Silver Sardine/Tuna Serving Fork in the "New Standish" pattern by Gorham/Durgin, introduced in 1905. Elegant pattern features scrolls at tips with lined edges and a gold wash over tines. This set came from the Prestigious Bailey Banks and Biddle store. Measures 6" long and 1.25" at widest. Monogrammed “S”. Marked with Durgin’s hallmark, "Sterling" and “Bailey Banks & Biddle Co”. Durgin was purchased by Gorham in 1924.
Minimal tarnish and surface scratches from use, polishes beautifully! Light pitting/wear to gold wash.
