RODNEY LAY Heartbreak country Roy Clark 1982 cassette tape Hog For You Baby NWT

This is a brand new “Heartbreak” audio-cassette-tape, by RODNEY LAY & THE WILD WEST, issued independently by Churchill Records in 1982. It’s brand new and gift-quality, still in the original factory-issued shrink-wrap.

During the ‘60s, Rodney Lay and the Blazers toured with Jerry Lee Lewis, and then, from 1964 through 1966, Wanda Jackson. However, the big turning point for Lay was in 1962, when he played with Roy Clark and later became his band-leader. In 1967, Hank Thompson had a Top 20 hit with Rodney’s “He’s Got a Way with Women,” which Bob Luman would record a decade later. In 1969, Waylon Jennings hit the Top 20 with “Something’s Wrong in California,” and the same year, the Hagers scored with “Gotta Get To Oklahoma.” He even appeared in the Sam Peckinpah movie, “Pat Garrett And Billy The Kid,” before joining Freddy Fender from 1975-1976.  Track-listing:
