Hydraulic Seal Kit for Ford 555A 555A-XL 555B Backhoe Boom Lift cylinder 63mm Rod (2.48"). Note: only for 63mm chrome rod diameter cylinder (on 15ft hoe). Most machine have the 15ft Hoe vesion with a 63mm chrome rod diameter, please check your rod size to be sure. If you have the 56mm rod size (14ft hoe), that kit is also available. We are Fox Machine, Inc. of Norway ME USA, If you have any questions please contact Dean at FoxKits seal kit store.Ford cylinders of this type have unitized pistons, the wear rings on the piston are not replaceable, only the yellow seal in the center of the piston is replaceable, this is the same as the OEM Ford kits. Do not remove the wear rings from the piston. If the wear rings are damaged or if you have removed the wear rings, the entire piston must be replaced, please contact us if you need a replacement piston. Pictures are of an actual kit, seal colors may vary. Never attempt to service a pressurized cylinder, or a cylinder connected to a load, never use air or hydraulic pressure to disassemble a cylinder.
