Laird Saracen FM Shootbolt Gearbox Mechanism UPVC Window Lock 20 or 22mm Backset (Gearbox Only)
The Laird Saracen / Aubi FM face fit replacement gearbox provides a multi-point locking solution for PVC-U windows. The gearbox works with bi-directional bolts to secure the window to the outer frame locating into profile keeps.
The Shootbolt Bars for this FM Gearbox Lock are also available in our shop.

- Corrosion resistance: Meets the Requirements of BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 3

How do I know which gearbox I need?
The Saracen/Aubi FM gearbox lock comes in two variations, Straight or Cranked faceplate. To determine the correct gearbox first remove the gearbox from your window then inspect the tooth acceptor plates located on either side of the gearbox, the Cranked faceplate will have the stamp code 05058, the Straight faceplate will be stamped 05060. Next check the deadbolt throw size - The deadbolt throw is stamped on the square deadbolt face (i.e. 115 = 11.5mm & 095 = 9.5mm). By identifying the correct gearbox and deadbolt throw, you will automatically have the correct backset.
