Coppell TV Repair LLC offers a repair kit for a common failure we have seen develop and resolved in Samsung X-Main boards LJ92-01759A / LJ92-01759B. The boards are used in the following Samsung plasma TV models:
We apologize for not being able to include it here, but eBay policies in place at time of writing this are prohibiting us from doing so. Failure symptoms What we have seen with this board's failure is the TV just keeps clicking and never settling to powered on or powered off state. There may be other symptoms, but the most reliable is a short between Vs and GND on the power connector CN4701 when the cable to the Y-Main board is disconnected. Short can usually also be found in any of the below listed transistors. Kit contents Brand new replacement components for Q401,Q4104,Q4301,Q4302,Q4202 and possibly other if we discover other failures over time. Components we send may be exact replacements or , as noted in the video, superior substitutes to the OEM installation. We sometimes replace power transistors with superior ones, which is not necessary and normally costs more for volume production, but makes perfect practical sense when trying to maintain small inventory and cost is practically comparable due to age of the components. If you receive parts that you can not identify please contact us.. Kit difficulty Medium; de-soldering the transistors with solder and wick alone is not very easy , we recommend vacuum pump or solder sucker gun. Essential knowledge and experience in electronics and soldering is required. |
