You are buying a very nice gray fuse box trim cover.  This has been removed from an almost brand new car with less than 5,000 miles on it years ago for a race-car conversion. It since has been stored in a climate controlled environment and it is in practically new condition, has never been wet or cleaned, no mold, smoke or smell – no stories.
