Amazing heavy textured Vermeil ( gold over Sterling) and wood sculptural pin by MARC JACOBS.  the prongs are very thick  at 1/16th" and will not go through all fabrics- it is a sweater pin or for an open weave fabric-  it's weighs about 1 ounce and measures 1 3/8" x 2.5" there is wood on 3 of the 5 sides- the ends are open.  it's signe MJ 925 on the back and is in very good gently used condition- no cracks or chips.  I have a ring up on ebay now that is part of this collections.  they retailed for about $500.00   It's a very lovely unique piece!
