These components are manufactured in Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy which is usually reserved for aerospace applications.
These components have amazing strength and will give about a 50% weight reduction when compared with steel.
Ti-6Al-4V (also known as Gr 5) has fantastic corrosion resistance and will look stay looking good for its entire lifetime.
All RaceTi bolts are made to exacting standards using the following procedures and specifications.
Each nut is CNC machined from billet.
The finished part is anodised in blue to give a durable and attractive finish.
Compliant with relevant standards, Deutsches Institut Fur Normung (DIN) with regard to dimensions, thread and tolerances.
Please note that blue anodised titanium colour is not an exact match for the blue anodising found on aluminium components.
These nuts have been used extensively by European motorbike racers for many years. They will look great and add performance to you and your machine.
**All Titanium bolts should be assembled using a suitable anti-galling compound such as copper grease**
