This is our go to Headset for Classic Cruisers, Vintage Bikes, Rat Rods, Customs, Lowriders, Antique Schwinns, Etc. that have 1" Threaded Lux Low Forks. This Headset is a New Import that offers Good Look and Performance for a Budget price. Please fully read for Compatibility and Accuracy, So we can get you on the road faster. This Head Set works with 1" threaded forks. The Cups fit a Classic Cruiser Head Tube that has a 32.5 mm or 1 9/32" opening "also AKA Cup Diameter". 32.5mm Head tube is Very Common, Fits Most Newer Cruiser & Lowrider Bikes, Vintage Chicago Schwinns - Ballooner - Middle Weight - lightweight- and CWC Cleveland Welding Company made bikes. DOES NOT work with HP Snyder / Rollfast, Huffman / Huffy, and a Few other Antique Bikes. In rare cases some old bikes may of seen too much excessive use and the head tube is stretched, making the cups a loose fit, in that event a shim may be needed for a tight fit. The top Nut has a 22.2mm or 7/8" opening for stems of that size ( the fork must also have the 22.2mm or 7/8" opening for the stem to work) 22.2mm or 7/8" is the larger of the 2 sizes,it is common to Newer Bikes and Vintage Bikes before 1965. Being the Bigger size it works in both applications. The bearings are 15 x 3/16" ball retainers. The Washer is non Keyed. The Bottom Crown Race fits Vintage and Newer forks with a 27mm or 1 1/16" race lip. The 27mm or 1 1/16" crown race size is Common to most New Import Forks Like: Tubular Cruiser, Springer Forks, and Triple tree and Lugged forks. A 27mm Crown Race DOES NOT Fit Schwinn Bladed Forks and Schwinn Springer forks. Should you need a Headset to use with a Vintage Schwinn Bike and Vintage Schwinn Fork, The OGS available in our ebay store will have the Proper Crown Race to use with your Original Schwinn Fork.
