Torque Angle Gauge
For the fasteners used on some vehicles, automotive manufacturers are specifying both torque and angle settings. With this Gauge, the professional mechanic can meet the demands of these specifications turning the fastener a specified number of degrees after the initial torque is set. The Gauge takes the guesswork out of tightening by indicating the number of degrees that fastener is turned on a large easy to read scale.
360 deg angle scale- clearly marked in 2 deg increments and in intervals of 10 and 30 deg
Indicator etched on clear plastic plate protects angle scale from grease and dirt
Adjustable arm keeps angle scale stationary
The arm has two lengths for additional flexibility in placement against components
Easy disassembly for cleaning - just unclip retaining ring
Torque and Angle Specification Example
If a torque + angle specification is given as 50 NM + 70° , the fastner is first torqued to a threshold of 50 NM , then it is turned a further 70° using the angle gauge.
