The Hopper Lid Safety Switch is sometimes listed as AC-HLS or PU-HLS. The auger motor stops when this switch is defective or the hopper lid is open too long.
Also, check the vacuum switch for proper function.
Tip: Keep the hopper lid open for the shortest interval possible when refueling.
The control board will display an "E4" Code if there is a problem with the hopper lid or the vacuum switch.
Stove parts will get less reliable as time passes, especially vacuum and safety switches. It is a good habit to replace such parts on your stove, even if it does not always solve the main issue. Vacuum- and safety switches may cause many unpredictable stoves shutdowns, it is worth to have them replaced every so often (especially with our very affordable prices).
Don't pay more for LESS Service, LESS Quality and LESS support (you know...)
