Worlds Fair St. Louis 1904 clear glass commemorative plate features slightly raised design of buildings with gold tone paint on reverse side, and with words, "World's Fair St. Louis 1904" at top, and on bottom, "Festival Hall & Cascade Gardens." Open lattice design wide rim accented with flowers. Measures approx 7-1/4" diameter. This is a used piece and is not like brand new. No chips or cracks, but gold tone on image has worn away completely in several large spots. Slightly larger than pinprick-sized flea bite along outer rim, not immediately visible but can be felt, and slightl roughness to the touch to outer rim in many spots. Scratch marks in multiple spots consistent with moderate handling.
