These components are manufactured in Ti-6Al-4V Titanium alloy which is usually reserved for aerospace applications.
These components have amazing strength and will give about a 50% weight reduction when compared with steel.

All RaceTi bolts are made to exacting standards using the following procedures and specifications.

The Head is forged and then CNC machined.
A Taper head form is applied to further reduce mass without compromising strength.
The threads are rolled onto the bolt shaft to reduce stress raising areas caused by machined threads used on some bolts.
The finished part is Vacuum Black Nitride finished.
Compliant with relevant standards, Deutsches Institut Fur Normung (DIN) with regard to dimensions, thread and tolerances.
