  This plate it for all the 2.5L and 3.0L Duratorq MZR-CD engines -it is a Mazda WLT engine fitted in the Ford Ranger. The Older models have the EGR valve on the front on the engine Will NOT fit the ford Puma engines or the new 3.2 engine, I do have them listed, item number 111669890498 and 111238681936 .
  Also the Mazda  BT-50.This plate is 1.5mm thick Laser cut 304 Stainless Steel. Fit's between the rear of the EGR cooler, and the pipe that go's round to the EGR valve (Euro4), or any of the joints an all years as they all have the same size. The plate is slotted to make it simpler to fit. The bolts just need to be loosened, the plate slipped in between the EGR cooler and the existing gasket, then re-tightened. Has been on test in the truck pictured for some time, and no lights (EML) coming on, and have had no reports of it coming on in either the 2.5L. I also have them in 3mm if you wish to remove the EGR system so a plate can be fitted to the exhaust manifold and the inlet manifold.
  They have been rumbled to make them smooth, so no sharp edges.
  Fitting the plate can put on the engine management light on in the Mazda 2.5 & 3.0L model (Euro4) and the Ford Ranger 3.0L. I do have one listed with a hole in so that it doesn't, item number 121166600978

  2 pictures in the header is the 2007 Euro 4 and the last picture is the oldest type but will fit all years.

Benefits of blocking EGR

   1.  Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.

   2.  Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs

   3.  Prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power

   4.  Smoother drive and quit often better economy

   5.  Less smoke if the EGR valve is faulty ((black smoke is a MOT failure)
