This is our newest 2nd Generation
Same design as our original one, but now with upgraded Waterjet Stainless Head Flange. We wanted to make ours far superior than anything on the market by redesigning the flange for a better look, longer reliability and better material. Other sellers that are selling a similar header have a cheap 409 cast flange. Ours is a true Stainless 304 laser cut flange.

2004-05 Ions and 2005 Chevy Cobalt 2.2 has been reported that it hits the thermostat housing. So it will not fit these 2.2's.
2006-11 Chevy HHR 2.2 and 2.4 (Does NOT fit 2.0 Turbo SS)
Also fits 2007-10 Pontiac G5's with 2.2 and 2.4 engines

Direct bolt on. Replaces stock exhaust manifold and bolts directly to factory cylinder head and factory downpipe. We call it a shorty header because we also carry a midlength and long tube header, but those require a different downpipe. This shorty header is designed for people who don't want to replace their downpipe. Our customers have requested this for some time after seeing all these cheap, horrible other brands designs on the market we finally decided to make one. Ours uses thick 1/2" flanges and OEM style 3 bolt flange that goes to downpipe. Not sure why other cheaper brands carry a weird designed flange that is not the same as the factory flange. Other cheap headers use a non factory thin flange that will warp. Not ours. Ours are made thicker than factory so warping and leaks won't happen. This is very important because the primary o2 sensor is located there. Any leakage and your car will run like crap because the o2 sensor will have improper readings.
Includes header gasket to cylinder head and header to downpipe gasket. We provide OEM style gaskets with metal rings while others give you cheap gaskets that do not properly seal. We also include nuts, washers and bolts as factory header uses studs.
On the 2.2L cars have the primary o2 sensor near the flex of the downpipe. This o2 sensor gets moved to this header. You will need an o2 bung plug or another o2 sensor to screw into the factory downpipe if you are still on the factory downpipe. It comes down to buying something quality made and test fitted on an actual Cobalt, in house in the U.S. You may see other sellers nickle and diming headers that look similar, but they will not fit, seal, and bolt us as nicely as ours. That's just a fact. We actually own Cobalts and know what works well and what doesn't. Other sellers are mass producing garbage. You get what you pay for.
