This kit will allow you to turn one 10ml spore/culture syringe into at least ten to fifteen 10ml spore/culture syringes in a matter of weeks!

The advantage of an oyster liquid culture is that once the oyster culture is established, it can be extracted using a syringe and used just like a spore syringe but unlike a spore syringe, growth begins within hours as there is no lag time waiting for spores to germinate. This means less time is needed waiting for your substrates to colonise which means mushrooms are ready sooner. Furthermore, the oyster culture can be used to inoculate other jars of sterilised media so an endless supply of oyster mushroom liquid culture can be obtained. This media will work for "any species" of mushroom and the jar is sterile and ready to be injected with any species you wish !!!

Glass is used for higher clarity for viewing your liquid culture. It will arrive containing pre-sterilised liquid nutrients, ready to use and inject as soon as it arrives !!! No need to autoclave as it has already been done. Grow a oyster mushroom tissue culture or "any other" mushroom of your choice. One of the easiest set-ups for amateurs and beginners to experience the wonderful hobby of mycology, no experience necessary as it is very easy to use and contains all that is needed to grow tissue cultures with success. This jar is ideal for limited space, can be put out of the way and is practically maintenance free.

Includes:
  • Sterilised jar with media (200ml)
  • 10ml sterile syringe
  • Alcohol wipe
Instructions;
  1. Heat your needle on your spore syringe until it glows red and allow to cool for 20-30 seconds
  2. Swab rubber port with alcohol wipe and allow to completely dry
  3. Inject 1-2ml of spore solution through the self healing rubber port
  4. Place jar somewhere warm  and dark  for two weeks, gently swirling daily (18-22°C, room temperature will work for most species)
  5. After two weeks, growth should be visible; white, round, fluffy, spheres.
  6. When tissue has grown to at least 50% volume of the jar, extract through injection port and inject in to chosen substrate, remembering to swab and heat needle as before - simple as that !!!
