These pigments have a longer glow time than the basic pigments sold by other companies. Our new 5^th Generation formulation process allows us to manufacture our pigments and encapsulate these powders so they can be used in Oil or Water Based mediums at much lower cost

When activated with a suitable dopant (Europium) it then takes on a different structure and becomes like a Phosphorescence emitting its glow. It now requires UV in the higher spectrum to charge the crystals and make them GLOW. 

UV Ultra Violet light is the electromagnetic radiation from Sunlight with a wavelength shorter than white light. In summer the pigment powder supercharges on the emitting UV rays from sunlight and makes the pigment

REALLY POP !

however in the winter months when there is limited UV in the sun′s rays then it is harder to charge most pigments.

This is NOT the case for our New 5^th Generation Glow in the Dark pigment, these require LESS UV and will charge with incandescent and LED Cre lighting more efficiently.

We use UV Black lights to help charge certain pigments and lower generation powders in the winter months. These are specially designed BLACK LIGHTS you can purchase from stores. LED purple lights do work however their wavelength falls slightly short. Best lighting is a woods bulb; however incandescent lights and strip bulbs can work
