Please read carefully as there are 2 types of valve (check will the header pictures which also show where to fit the plate).
Thanks for looking.
This is made from Laser cut 1.5 Stainless Steel. It has been rumbled to
make it smooth and give it an abraded surface that also helps give a
better seal, plus removes all sharp edges. It gives a cleaner pickup at
lower revs because it stops exhaust gas being recycled. If the EGR
valve is playing up, then the improvement can be quite dramatic
Easy to fit, just loosen the 2 bolts, slip in the plate between the
inlet manifold and the gasket, then tighten up the bolts. It can
sometimes put on the engine management light, but not always (The forums
say it does not, and not have come on in the ones I have fitted) If it
does, check the boost pipes for leaks.
For the Euro 5 (they have a DPF) I have it listed with a hole in- Item number 110901472743 is with the hole, as they will get the EML on if fully blocked.
This fits the Motorized operated EGR valve type pictured in the header pictures,
so please check before buying as the years will cross over with the
euro3 vacuum operated one's, which I do have listed, item number
110898426952. The Euro 3 and 4 are also different sizes, so not
interchangeable.

Benefits of blocking EGR
1. Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.
2. Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs
3. Prevents soot build up in intake
manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power
4. Smoother drive and quite often better economy
5. Help to pass the MOT, as black smoke output is tested for

All
plates are designed and researched by me in house over many years. I do
not buy or have ever brought from other seller (most sellers are just
engineering firms that have brought from each other-along with the
repeated mistakes), and have no idea about car engines, fault codes, and
what can be causing them. I have been a mechanic for many years, and my
number 4 son is also a trained mechanic of some years.
