UNUSED UNITED STATES POSTAGE STAMP SHOWING A GRAND PIANO

This unused United States Postage Stamp was issued on July 13, 1978 in Interlochen, MI.  It was issued as a coil stamp.  It pays tribute to the grand piano which is comprised of 230 steel-wire strings and is tuned to 88 different notes. Its shortest string is only 2 inches long, while the longest string is 80 inches..  It is matted in dark navy blue.  The second picture shows a close-up of the stamp.  The frame is silver-toned (approximate size is 3 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches). Frame comes with easel for standing and with hanger for hanging. Shipping is $ 2.95.
