This replacement Vacuum Air Switch is used on all BRECKWELL Pellet and Multi-Fuel Stoves, regardless of the year, manufacturer or model.

Important Note: This differential switch is made especially for your stove with an integrated micro-switch INSIDE the sealed housing - protected from dust and heat!

If this sensor turns OFF after the unit is running, the #2 or AS light on your control panel will blink.

This is a safety sensor that will measure the air pressure inside of the combustion chamber. The vacuum pressure switch allows the auger to run as long as there is sufficient negative pressure present.
The switch is calibrated and ready to install on your stove (no need for confusing calibrations...).

Here are a few common reasons for missing negative air pressure...

The exhaust fan fails.
A stove door is not completely closed. (don't forget - check the ash drawer door)
The exhaust pipe or vent becomes clogged.

The switch is easily identified because it is connected to a tube of about 3/8" diameter. The combustion fan creates a negative pressure at the combustion air intake or exhaust fan housing. A diaphragm located inside the vacuum pressure switch closes the normally open switch if the negative pressure is sufficient.
If the negative pressure drops below the designated range, the switch opens and interrupt the power to the control board, to the feed motor and/or igniter.
