  This fit's the cars listed below. The blanking plate is made from 1.5mm laser cut Stainless Steel, and has been rumbled to make it smooth ( no sharp edges).  It fits between the cylinder head and the EGR valve. (See picture below). The holes are slotted so the EGR valve doesn't need to be removed, just loosened, and the plate can be slipped in and the bolts re-tightened. Plus, leave the EGR electrics plugged in, so as not to get the engine management light on. Putting in a plate should not put on the EML on, though it can come on it the odd car. Volvo's and Mazda are different, in that the EML quit often come on, so item numbers 121235896206 & 111238635333 for these.  It gives a cleaner pickup at lower revs because it stops exhaust gas being recycled, especially if the EGR is dirty or jammed open.

 VOLVO C30 S40 V50 S/V60 V70 S80engine # DV6 B, DV6 TAD, DV6 ATED4, (It will put the engine warning on in the Volvo )

 MAZDA 1.4 CiTD  (1.4 mz-cd); 1.6 CiTD (1.6 mz-cd) Y4 and Y6 engine. (it will put the engine warning on in the Mazda ) Check item 121235896206 which has a small hole in

 SUZUKI  S4X 1.6 DDiS (re-badged Peugeot/Ford engine) 1,560cc

 Will not fit any other size engine, only the 1.4 and 1.6. Will not fit the Euro 5 1.6L 8 valve engine (DV6 C, DV6 D, DV6 D, DV6 FD, DV6 FC) and have a water cooler housing that the EGR valve fit's into.

  Please note that the EML can come on for all sorts of reasons/problems that fitting the plate will bring to the fore I.E split boost hoses etc

Benefits of blocking EGR

   1.  Cleaner engine oil

   2.  Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs

   3.  Helps prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power

   4.  A smother drive, and usually better fuel economy

   5.  Will help it pass the MOT, as it will lower the soot output

   6.  If the car has a DPF then it will regenerate less, as there will be less smoke to be trapped

All plates are designed and researched by me in house over many years. I do not buy or have ever brought from other seller (most sellers are just engineering firms that have brought from each other-along with the repeated mistakes or Chinese drop shops selling out of Australia or China), and have no idea about car engines, fault codes, and what can be causing them. I have been a mechanic for many years, and my number 4 son is also a trained mechanic of some years.
